Let me start off saying how excited I am to be teaching your child art. I have wanted to be an art teacher since I was in the 4th grade. I had an amazing art teacher who truly made me see things in a new and exciting way! I hope I can get your children to have an appreciation for art.  I'm an artist myself with a passion for painting. I work mainly in acrylics on canvas.  

 

I started my teaching career as a sub teacher at my sons school, Denham Oaks Elementary. I was later hired on as an ESE IA for 1st, 4th and 5th grade students. The following year I was hired on as a long term sub for the art position. Summer of 2017 I was hired as a full time art teacher for both New River and Seven Oaks Elementary. After two years Seven Oaks lost the 2nd art position and I went to search for a new school. I was hired on as the 2nd art teacher at Bexley Elementary which is split Veterans Elementary. I'm very excited about my new schools and look forward to working with your child!
